SARGENT HOUSE

East Village Radio Recommends: synth-punk trio No Spill Blood’s EP Street Meat Out Now On Sargent House

Should you require an eye-opener, may we suggest forgoing your usual three shots of espresso and giving the debut by Ireland’s No Spill Blood a listen. On their just-released Sargent House EP, Street Meat, the Dublin three-piece whips up a bone-shaking torrent of aggression from drums, bass & synthesizer. Admittedly, we don’t know much about what the kids are jamming into their ear holes on the Emerald Isle these days, but we like to believe that No Spill Blood are high on the list.  Recommended for fans of any notable post-hardcore band from the genre’s ‘90s heyday, No Spill Blood make a post-punk racket that is at once driving at atmospheric. Stream the Street Meat EP (via Bandcamp) and now available to buy at Itunes and all other digital retailers. CD and Vinyl will be released on September 4, 2012.
