SARGENT HOUSE

You know I met Anthony Green on the same day I met Keith Goodwin. They were both out in California to play in The Sound Of Animals Fighting’s only four live shows ever with my boys RX Bandits who were the entire band for those shows. It was back in 2006, and the meeting led to a friendship and love for both these gentlemen. I went on to work with Keith and what would became his new band Good Old War which all started with a few shows before they even had a name with none other than Anthony, their long time friend on his first solo tour. Since then they have collaborated on music and recorded as his band on both his first album Avalon and now on his newest Beautiful Things. It’s what true friendship and family is all about. So when Anthony was to do the first tour for this album who better than his long time brothers of melody and music than Good Old War to have along to accompany him. Music is about community and even though Good Old War are headlining their own shows now, it’s never been lost that you give back to the ones you love and who helped you, we are all in this thing together. So I highly recommend seeing a show if it’s coming through your town, because the magic all these friends make together on stage is really quite an experience.
